Avelox® (moxifloxacin) is a prescription antibiotic drug used to treat common community-acquired respiratory tract infections including acute bacterial exacerbations of chronic bronchitis, acute bacterial sinusitis, and community-acquired pneumonia. It is used to treat skin structure infections and complicated intra-abdominal infections.

Avelox has been linked to a rare but potentially life-threatening risk of liver injury, including liver failure. Symptoms of liver problems include:

  • Abdominal pain
  • Loss of appetite
  • Yellowing of the skin and eyes
  • Severe itching
  • Dark urine
  • Pale-colored stools

If you or your loved one has suffered an Avelox injury, contact us today. Submit the form to the right and we’ll let you know if you have a case and if we can represent you.
