Anti-epilepsy drug Depakote® (divalproex sodium) is used for the treatment of convulsions, migraines and bipolar disorder. In December 2009, the FDA issued an alert reminding health care professionals and patients about the increased risk of major birth defects such as spina bifida, limb defects, and cleft palate in unborn babies exposed to Depakote or other valproate related products during pregnancy.

If you or your loved one has suffered a Depakote injury, contact us today. Submit the form to the right and we’ll let you know if you have a case and if we can represent you.
